Development of idea.

 

Hugo and I called Saoura over the weekend called and had a long discussion about the concept. We tried to think a bit more about the miniature town. We changed it to a doll house so it would look less complicated but it was still too much and seemed like a lot of work that we wouldn’t be able to complete in such a short amount of time.
So we went back to working with scale and Hugo’s idea with small people jumping on the instruments. Instead of a house we would just have a band playing and focus on the green screen and instruments. As that idea started flowing, all three of us liked the sound of it more and more. It would be a boy band, filled in black and white mainly with.

My concept idea was that the vocalist of this band would drink a certain potion (like in the Alice in the wonderland) and turn small. He would run around the studio as the other band members are practicing, trying to make them help him get to his normal size again. As he is running around, he would be bouncing around the instruments and etc. In the end I was thinking that the vocalist turns normal size but the rest of the band turns small, because they figured that way they could help him.
That was my idea, but not everyone agreed on in so we started thinking further.
Hugo suggested we make all of the band members small, and they would interact with the normal sized versions of themselves. We all liked that idea more.
On that note we hung up and chose to develop it more in class the next day.
